La Casona Paraguachi is situated in the peaceful village square of Paraguachi, in front of the 16th century church of San Jose. The village is one of Margarita’s oldest and most charming. It is located in North West Margarita and nestles in a valley formed by five imposing conical shaped mountains, which border the sea. At least six of Margarita´s loveliest and best known beaches lie close by - between 1 – 3 kms. Many other beaches lie a little further afield.

All told, an evocative location that's ideal for honeymooners - or second honeymooners!

The village of Paraguachi is dominated by the lovely church of San Jose and has a pleasant tree shaded square. The village has a strong local community spirit and there are frequently youthful parades, events, concerts held in the square. Paraguachi is only 25 minutes by car from the commercial capital of Margarita – Porlamar – but there is a great cultural divide between the two. The one representing the traditional way of life, the other a modern bustling commercial centre full of shops, restaurants, clubs and discotheques.
